Fusetec takes our environmental responsibilities seriously. Base models have been designed to last for years and hundreds of operable procedures, while interchangeable cassettes have been designed to a minimal operable size reducing our environmental impact. Several base models can be returned and recycled back into new anatomical models. Fusetec is constantly reviewing options to advance new materials, in collaboration with local universities.

Utilising Fusetec’s Advanced Surgical Training models as compared to the use of cadaveric specimens removes the need for formaldehyde and eliminates the requirement of a wet lab environment. These factors alone aid to reduce negative impact on the environment and positively reduce our impact on society.
